Why does eating at Yummy's always make me feel nauseous? I wouldn't have thought eating salad and falaffel would make me feel so sick, but alas..
Last night was, um, interesting.We(Me, Dave, Rob, Kelly, and KC) drove down to Dallas in hopes of finding the 80's prom party Peggy had told us about. I had forgotten how awful Deep Ellum is on weekends. There were so many people in their bling bling Cadillacs and SUV's, and SUV Cadillacs, trying to pick up scantily clad hoochie mamas and showing off their V-tec engines and things. It took us forever to get through the traffic and find somewhere to park. Then there was the walking, and the heat, and the not finding of the venue, and the going back to the cars, and the losing of Kelly, KC, and Rob, and finally the going home. Yes, quite a miserable experience, but apparently the other three had a pretty interesting night with some guy named Theo.
Oh well, at least we had fun on the 4th and tonight we just may go to see Undercover Brother in all it's cheesiness. And I'm finally going to start on the third Harry Potter book! (I'm so behind the times.)
