bring it on home to me. yeah! (yeah!) yeah! (yeah!)

I returned home from school to an empty house. =( Apparently my boyfriend is out riding around town on his scooter. It's a shame too; he would have received many kisses from me. (I can already hear the collective *gag*)

So rather than writing me letters anymore, my dad has taken to sending me obituaries for his various dogs who apparently keep dying. I've already received three long, detailed eulogies complete with pictures and lists of surviving family members. That's sad and all, and I feel bad for him, but it would be nice to receive a "hello" from my father once in awhile.

Anyway, on to brighter subjects, I have now successfully attended two full days of class. Rejoice! I'm already counting down to the end of the semester: only forty or so classes left! So far I like my education classes very much, especially the legal one. The professor is this middle-aged, jaded former high school teacher who likes to "tell it like it is." I have my other education class right after this one and the professor is the embodiment of everything the former hates about the education system. She's extremely perky and keeps reminding us of the importance of the upcoming ExCet tests. I told Dave that she reminds me of the PE teacher in Donnie Darko. After that I go to English, this time American literature to 1870, I believe. The instructor says "um" a lot and often seems to be at a loss for words. After this class I have an hour break and then it's off to the language building for my French film class. The teacher is the same one I had for my French class last semester. He's very French and a very good French teacher. And we get to watch and study Amelie! Woo! So there you go, my first day or two of the semester in a nutshell. Now I must listen to the Animals, eat lunch, and figure out how to post pictures to this here site.

Yea, and Dave's home!
